"I think there are some things in life you only learn from experience. That includes the experience of being different ages. Maturity and wisdom are different to that, I think.
Mrs TMN x" it’s true. For example I don’t know what it’s like to hate younger generations yet. But it’ll come |

"Seems to be your favourite subject at the mo, age that is
Black and age - ding ding ding! You hit the picklepot. "
I will give you race. But that’s only because being Black is the best thing ever |

"Seems to be your favourite subject at the mo, age that is based on my green arrow, I’d agree.
And mine is food, in case you missed it "
A few threads in your green arrow do confirm this |

NipNips is right. Experience, sure.
Maturity? Wisdom? No. Especially not when we're talking about emotional maturity. I thought for a long time that age was somehow linked to emotional maturity - would actively avoid men around my own age because I thought older men were some how... more stable. Emotionally mature. Able to handle things. Boy was I wrong. I've found on here that age really doesn't come in to someone's emotional maturity. |

Hahahaha yeah, fair. I snorted reading that.
But but but... I'm also giving a massive compliment to the men who I previously dismissed as too young. You're great, menfolk, young, old, and my age. |

You can have tons of experience and still be young, old & unwise unless you’re exercising courage, taking risks , making & learning from mistakes.
This is why children grow much faster than adults - they are fearless! |

Adults don't grow at all. They shrink when their intervertebral discs shrivel up and die |

"When it comes to maturity? Or being wise? "
Yes it is just a number when it comes to these things. However, the type of maturity and wisdom is different I think.
Wise and mature people of all ages know that we can all learn something from each other. |

Age matters to some. It's not just a number to me. Maturity and experience matters too.
I'm a bit surprised at you starting a thread on this old chestnut to be honest! |

Well I don’t do threads on age as much as I do with race so that surprise better be genuine |
