The bottom of the River Ankh

Preaching to the perverted.... nerdy Christian MP wanna be goes undercover and infiltrates a BDSM group ...Cue shenanigans.... and the MP for whom he's working turns out to be just as kinky as the group he's morally outraged at... very funny and a few familiar faces

I vote this too. A realy good film that’s easy to miss because it’s not pushed by hollywoods big names.

This is an amazing movie!

And also Best Laid Plans with Stephen Graham. (Don’t get it mixed up with the American movie of the same title)

Dark night of the scarecrow (1981). Old horror film very cool

Robot jox (precursor to pacific rim from the early 90s with awful acting and big model robots ) it’s great

Not films per se but just back to back watched Miss Americana about Taylor Swift and then Lewis Capaldi one. Not dissimilar stories to be fair. Worth a watch from a human perspective. K x

Loughborough

The Founder - Michael Keaton stars in a movie about how McDonald's started out. Better than it sounds.

Tetris - A movie about the history of - you guessed it - Tetris. Again, better than it sounds.

The Conjuring - The Devil Made Me Do It - currently watching this and cuddling the dog.

I watched all Oscar best picture nominees in theatres the last few weeks. Anatomy of a fall is fantastic! Zone of interest, the Holdovers and American fiction were also good.

Other than that, All of us strangers and Iron claw are also good films.

Worthing

There are some good films where there is only one character in it most of the time. Obvious one being Castaway. Also check out Oxygen, All is Lost, Locke, Buried.
