I eat half a dozen eggs a day, so a 6 pack is the perfect amount.

Worcester

No, six is perfect.

Every Sunday I boil five of them for my lunches for the week, and the sixth egg makes waffles one day.

Finedon ,

I manage to get through 24 eggs during a normal week, Scrambled eggs and omlettes use about 6 the remainder are used in my cake making.

I have an excellent Egg Farm a couple of miles away so all my eggs are fresh from the farm and not from the Supermarkets.

6 works for me. It takes 4 for Sunday morning pancakes and I make scrambled eggs for my dog with the other 2.

Look Busman ..... if you are going to fanny about with eggs... then we are going to have to fanny about with everything that comes in sixes..... like doughnuts and crayons , Henry VIII's wives , packs of knickers AND people will be sweating at the gym for a four pack ! No .... no I say ...... leave the half dozen alone !

I've found a few and I've made a few but they aren't a readily available able like non vegan ones. So still eating cake but not every day like before, hence the slimmer me.

Phew ..... cos I was going to worry about bags of 6 burger buns....

BUT burgers are in 4's aren't they?

SOLVED it !!! When someone has burgers , they can use the leftover buns to use up the last 2 eggs !

That's WHY eggs come in sixes..... I knew there'd be a logical reason
