Plant based spreads work well in recipes too I've found.

-Apple crumble for example.

I'm vegan so I no longer eat butter BUT

I know that butter is ...... butter is just cream from milk that has been churned.

I also know that Flora plant based 'butter' is ....

Palm kernel and palm oil, water, sunflower oil, pea protein, sunflower lecithin, lactic acid, natural flavor, annatto (color), vitamin A palmitate.

So I don't eat that either. Same reason I won't eat vegan cheese....

Cos that is even shittier and nothing like cheese nutritionally

Didn’t think vegans ate things with palm oil in it because of the orangutans?

Sustainable palm oil is safe. Almost all palm oil in the UK and EU is sustainable. The whole furore was overblown propaganda.

I use Naturli - palm oil free and delicious - just like butter IMO.

Ingredients: R*peseed oil (39%), water, shea butter oil (22%), coconut oil (13%), ALMOND (2%), salt, carrot juice, emulsifier (lecithin), lemon juice, natural sunflower oil flavour

Vegetarians won't eat orangutans either.

There is no palm oil in flora spread. I'm lactose intolerant and have been using it for years.
