Human Skins Used to Bind Books

Reports that a book stored at Harvard University was bound with human skin removed from an unclaimed body by a doctor many years ago. Book binding with leather, which is made from the skin of dead animals, was relatively common as leather gives good protection against damage and has a nice feel. Should using human skin be illegal. Harvard are now respecfully disposing of the skin. Whats going on here guys. It's all over the news

"A necromicon? "

Best not to read such things, least of all in an isolated cabin in the woods.

I just need some help on how to pronounce the words.

There’s nearly 8 billion people on the planet.

The majority of them just go up in smoke at the end

This is a huge waste of potential resources

I’d be happy to be plasticised perhaps and used as a doorstop or a novelty Halloween prop.

Other uses may be available.

If it's with consent of the deceased then why not ?

Lampshades with tattoos on the skin would look amazing with consent and a lovely gift to grandchildren of the deceased

Taxidermied hands with the middle finger flicking the bird would make great coat hooks.

Just a thought........

Yes it should be illegal. Unless maybe it was the express wish of the relevant person to be used that way.

Never forget, some Nazi "experiments" and abuses resulted in books bound in human skin.

Should be enough to stop it.

Personally I had wondered what they used all the foreskin for after circumcisions....

Seems now we know.
