Happy Easter everyone.

What do you plan having today. Is it a special Easter dinner, another Sunday roast or something. Whatever it is, enjoy. I like Easter so make a little bit of an effort usually but that's just me. So it is a nice prawn and avocado starter, roast lamb with everything for main and sicilian lemon rulade (from freezer I am afraid) for after. There is cheese and some simnel cake too. The easter eggs a little later if I can wait. A bit of Easter music on too, will let Handel with his Messiah and Dolly Parton with He is alive to fight it off. Have a fabulous day all, whatever you are doing, whether celebrating or not. Happy to hear of all culinary delights of the day. I am off to get a couple of hot cross buns on as still some left

I'm going to knock something up from what's left of the chicken I cooked yesterday.

Thinking I might make a fruit loaf and some chocolate chip cookies this morning though. If I can ever get off the sofa

Not doing much today but the whole family are going to our daughters tomorrow for dinner.

Feeding 16 of us, she must be a glutton for punishment haha.

Will be lovely though, really looking forward to it,

Mrs x

Worcester

I made pulled pomegranate lamb, couscous fresh hummus, and pitta bread from scratch.

The cat and I then hung out and watched a movie while I ate far, far too much.
