I'd say much like my sexuality it fluctuates. Kink isn't essential. I don't see it as a "bonus". It depends on the dynamic I have with a person, what naturally unfolds.

Tried to explain this in my last post.
To an average person. Sex toys are in their definition a bit kinky.
To a more liberated open minded individual, sex toys are an extention of sexual intimacy.
You have to remember some individual think stockings, suspenders and high heels are a little kinky.
If its not missionary it might be kinky to another person.
It's all subjective.
As an example. I like piercings, but I'm not interested in needle play.
To the non initiated - scared shitless!!! Way beyond norms to most.

Should we be describing our own place on a kink scale from our own perspective?
Water sports was mentioned earlier. I've been peed on once. The excitement/arousal factor leading up to the event was intense. The event itself didn't live up to the anticipation. I see peeing on someone as kinky.
