If I have differences in viewpoint on a fundamental level, particularly when it comes to how marginalised and minority groups are treated, then I have no interest in seeing bigotry show up on my timeline |

I'm not on any social media of the normal variety, only here and a handful of technical groups.
I follow topics rather than people so 'unfollowing' people doesn't really apply.
If Tom, for instance, were to talk bollocks on here (unlikely) I would still take an interest in other people's takes on his topics.
There are some subjects on here which don't interest me and whilst I might mention that they are not my scene, I don't block people following posts they have made with which I disagree. |

I’ve unfollowed a few friends over the years as it became apparent that their views had turned nasty towards others….. I wouldn’t want to be associated with any form of hate speech |
