I was thinking earlier after seeing a clip of this film and I wonder if Forest Gump would get made today considering how sensitive everyone is and the cancel culture.
Can anyone think of other films that probably wouldn't get made?
The Goonies maybe would people complain about Sloth?

I think there’s plenty of films being made today that are a challenge to watch and make. However they’re generally not made in Hollywood anymore. But to answer the Op question.

You could flip this concept around and say there's recent films that would never have been made years ago..

Couldn't see either going down well in the 70s or 80s though. |

Sadly I would have to say, Aliens.
I was shocked when I rewatched it a year ago only to see a sensitivity warning attached to it. No it was not a warning for gore, language or nudity. It was for a white cast playing a Mexican. |
