Birthday suggestions

It's my Birthday on the twelfth and I feel like getting away from it all on my own for a day or two over that weekend.

Not sure where to go or what to do, quite like a good scenic hike, or maybe just stay near a quiet beach or browsing the backstreets of a town with nice cafés?

Ideally within spitting distance of Nottingham or could go anywhere with a train station.

Any suggestions?

You can get away from it all and disappear equally well in the city as much as the Countrtside

I'm off to Newquay for my birthday in July, been craving a proper Cornish pasty. Long drive for a few days away but that's my suggestion!
