A nod to you all
To those that put their children first.
To those that stepped up for a child that wasn't his.
To the granddads and uncles that have stepped up where the father didn't.
To those who are fighting through the court system for their child.
To those that have lost a child.
For some of you this isn't an easy day to get through, sending extra love and strength your way.

Happy fathers day and a thought for those no longer with us too. These kind of celebratory days are not always happy ones for everybody so best wishes and thoughts to you too, whatever the circumstances.  |

Thank you dearly o.p and just a wee reminder to some men fighting that court system genuinely never give up sometimes they can see through a magnitude of lies it was a long battle but one I had to do for my children |

This is my one half hour of the day on here being a horny bastard. The rest of the day I'll mostly be a happy Dad being treated to a surprise lunch by my twin girls.

Spending day with my twin daughters and quadriplegic son with a roast dinner at home, happy fathers day to those have stood by the kids and sod off to the athletic dads who did a runner when times got tough |

Why do people feel the need to say this on Father’s Day? It’s insulting. Same with “this is for all the mothers who are also dads”…. Erm what?
We don’t do this on Mother’s Day. So I don’t understand why Father’s Day (which is meant to be positive) gets turned into an opportunity to spread negativity |

Why do people feel the need to say this on Father’s Day? It’s insulting. Same with “this is for all the mothers who are also dads”…. Erm what?

I get what you’re saying as all circumstances are different a “real man” might not be afforded the right to raise his own child. The mothers who are also dad ones don’t tend bother me much unless I know the people and situations then it’s like but erm you only raising them on your own as you decided say he was a deadbeat and refused let him see his own kids.
