Cheer yourself up when you're on a post-lovely time downer? I had a most splendid weekend but getting back to the chaos of work and everyday life has kicked me up the bum a bit.
I liked being a lady of leisure and fun! Waaaaaaaaaaa |

Do something lovely for myself.
That could be a long bath, running a new to me path, hiking, spending the day at a spa, cooking for myself, treating myself to a cosy new jumper, dress, etc, shoe shopping, making myself feel absolutely stunning outwardly in what I’m wearing and going out full of confidence all alone, reading, reminiscing on the fun, chatting to a friend, watching a funny film, having really nice coffee, wanking, sleeping.

Make sure I have lovely things to look forward to.
Have a relatively low energy day as much as possible.
Bake something comforting. Like a really good coconut and cherry loaf cake.
Self care. I am sorry for using that term but... it's there now |

See, the low energy day after didn't happen. It was work and straight into a shit storm. I don't think that helped at all. |

Sorry your feeling a bit pants OP, I usually try and distract myself and keep busy, good happy music on and do anything and everything to take my mind off the feeling rubbish. |

I just go for a long walk maybe up into the hills and just watch the sun set. Or along a beach and watch the waves and lose myself for a while lost in my thoughts to get everything into perspective and then I head home feeling calmer and less stressed. |

"Booking a holiday usually works for me . Or just going out, getting a cup of coffee and looking at a fresh horizon
We booked a holiday but it's not till December!!
December isn't that far off "
It's about as far away as Christmas was in 2023. That feels like aaaaaaaaaaaaages |

"Ah I quite like the chaos of work and everyday life, keeps me sane.
"
I usually like it too, but I went from a Cloud Nine level of zen and right into a fuck up and hectic stress. It was the contrast, I think |
