Just seeing what’s peoples options are on messaging
Is it best to be straight to the point with what you want or try to start a conversation and build up. I’ve had a little bit of luck both ways but sometimes just fizzles out |

There's no one size fits all.
Some people respond better to an upfront message but others would be completely turned off by it.
I don't send messages so it's not something I think about in that regard but if I get an upfront message they obviously haven't read my profile so it will always be a thanks but no thanks. |

There is no one single correct answer. But if someone has a long profile, they have that for a reason, so showing that you’ve read it will go a long way to getting a reply.
You could send a simple “hi, I like your profile, if you’re interested I’d love to chat” and some people might think it’s too generic.
You could send a long detailed message and it not even get read. It’s all a lottery I guess |
