There isn't a right answer but Taskmaster gets my vote. It's funny, light-hearted, innovative, re-watchable and is my absolute go-to when I'm having a shit day  |

It’s not even the best comedy let alone best show.
Porridge is stride ahead as a comedy, or Rising Damp, or The Likely Lads, I could go on, but you get the picture.
In terms of best show, you’d have to go a long way to better The Sweeney. |

The Sopranos is still pulling in large numbers of new viewers 17 years after the last episode was aired. Just look at Facebook groups dedicated to the show and the member numbers. The final episode is still a hot topic and being argued about. |

I agree porridge hard to beat although blackadder, the thick of it, new statesman, spitting image, several others all hold special places in my heart. Best ever shows breaking bad, minder, sopranos, line of duty (minus the awful last H episode)! Surely better than ops mention!! |
