15 years.

Staying in nice hotels, copious amounts of alcohol, fit young hosties.

It's not like the back in the day now. Stop overs are much shorter, often less than 24 hours. Streamlined operations mean many of the good bits have been stepped back and cabin crew have to work a lot harder.

It did have it's perks though.

Probably Top Gear presenter about 15 years ago. Driving amazing cars in beautiful countries with your best mates. I can’t imagine it gets much better than that.

A gardener.

A few more years and I’ll be financially ready to make the leap.

Dream and job should not be in the same sentence.

Id have loved to have gone into audio engineering . Maybe as a studio engineer or music production of some sort.

I sorta fell into IT and my career went down that path, but never lost the interest in all that audio stuff.

Maybe in another dimension I'm a famous producer!

Drop me a line if you want my signature, bargain rates compared to my famous twin!

I don't dream of jobs, I dream of experiences.

I forged a career in something I liked and it's sucked the fun out of it.

Financially secure, world travelling, experience seeker is my ideal life.

I didn’t realise it till I was doing it, but the role I have now, hopefully for as long as they’ll have me!

Also, my other job as a father & husband is pretty damn important to me. I love it!
