Anyone else get caught up in the rockfall and road closure this weekend? Absolutely horrendous for thousands of people coming up the mountains who had to be accommodated in emergency accommodation overnight.
Fortunately for us already trapped in the resorts it meant an extra day’s skiing! |

Now is when we start seriously looking at the best places and prices. A lot of the ski passes have sky rocketed for the new season so we are looking at keeping the costs down for everyone, as much as possible. If you have any recommendations then please pop them here. Tia.

Glad to see you booked for La Plagne - its a massive ski area ajoining Les Arc. Well worth the horrendous list pass costs.
We usually go for Christmas/NewYear and love Belle Plagne - prettier, chilled with good places to eat and La Bodega does for a shot or two. Otherwise Bellecote or 18 00 are the places to go.

Anyone fancy sharing a room, chalet, or apartment in Val Thorens (or anywhere in the 3 valleys) between 03/01/26 - 10/01/26.
It would be great meet some new skiing/snowboarding friends and see what happens in the evenings.

I am going to St Anton 21st Feb for a week. Going myself and hoping to meet some other folk to ski with.
I know there are some Facebook groups but other than that I dont know of any other sites but would be interested to join some to find new ski buddies.

If anyone is travelling via le shuttle, please be aware that if you don't make your time slot, your ticket is now cancelled. You will not be able to transfer to a later train. You will have to buy a new ticket.
These changes came in in May. Xx |

Must admit I do like Mayrhofen it's a fantastic resort but I think I prefer the skiing I Zel am Ziller and round to Gerlos last time I was there there was a fantastic Apres bar tent at the bottom of the Rosemalbahn gondola but that was back in 2018 I think 🤔 |
