Just a preference i guess, people like what they like.
Some love gym fit guys, some slim and some love a dad bod.
Same with guys they have their preferences, personally i like a variety of body types but need to attracted to their face and personality. |

I have to admit I have had more interest from ladies since I got one and I got older than teenage me ever did.

considering a dad can have any type of body from slim to gym type to the biggest guys, the dad bod tag is pointless, same with the mum bods
is it just a excuse to hide their real body size n shape, just be honest about your body rather than a blanket tag |

If there's an appeal for dad bods it's more fetishisation than fascination...I don't see the general audience paying to see shirtless dad bods (otherwise the male entertainment industry would be full of them). Also the majority of guys that say they have a dad bod, don't have a dad bod...2 clear examples of what a dad bad is, are Tom Hardy and Jason Momoa - muscular arms, broad shoulders, thick neck and more bodyfat- someone that clearly works out but also doesn't care about a six-pack. |
