As a man

As a boy I was taught “big boys don’t cry”, during my military career I was taught “pain is weakness leaving the body”

As a man I have learnt and am starting to embrace that speaking out about things or admitting that you need space and time is neither of the above.

With Christmas coming whilst for many it is a time of happiness for some it is not. Please look out for yourself and those around you.

Sometimes being able to listen is all someone needs

Good for you man.

Especially this time of year when everything becomes so gloomy outside it’s hard to talk and these kinds of posts always resonate.

Great post

Yep well done - it's the friends that are always happy and joking - keep an out for them - mental health is very important and it's particularly wrong that men shut down - always here to support anyone male or female suffering a tough time xx
