I'm looking forward to dipping bread in my bolognese sauce more than I am eating the spaghetti bolognese. Maybe I should just have that for tea instead? Or the sauce and garlic bread? I'm hungry.

i've been watching ladies in the rain, and I'm totally amazed the different sort of footwear They have on their feet, from crocs and socks to one lady wearing a pair of waders , It was raining hard but not that hard. It's great watching people anybody else think the same |

I read that our brains create simulations of every person we have a meaningful encounter with. So that we can try and guess how they’ll react and respond to things.
That led to me pondering how many different versions of me exist in people’s minds? 🤔 we never really know how other people perceive us

There's a very good chance that who you think of as "you" is just another such simulation in your own brain, no less and no more real than all the ones that exist in other people's heads.

Have we passed the point of useful existence, in the past we were part of a system, hunters, gatherers,prey and all but now we have conquered and in a way destroyed the natural order, so what will our existence be in 500 years...contemplated this doing a few lengths in the pool, so literally deep as well as metorophorical. |

There's too much information for me to be an expert in anything...
Like, if I wanted to delve into classical music (I don't), I'd barely scratch the surface if listened to it 24/7, let alone retained the information. It's daunting. |

I would be surprised if that is really so.
For a start, classical music is finite unlike the ever expanding subsequent music scene.
I was lucky enough to be provided with the facilty to listen to Radio 3 during my employment and within a fairly short time had heard most of the classical repertoire several times over. It really isn't that vast, nor is it difficult to learn a great deal about nearly all the composers.
At one time I would have done well at (classical) music quizzes.
Then I discovered the rock, as opposed to hit parade pop, scene.
Later, my musical horizons expanded even further. |

That as my sister and I have only had sons, an unbroken maternal line stretching back thousands of generations to mitochondrial Eve will end when we die. And as my brother has no children at all, the Y-chromosome that carries its own unbroken lineage back Y-chromosomal Adam, will also die out.

In return I'd be very surprised if you'd heard most of the classical repertoire several times over. Maybe all the favourites and popular pieces. Whenever I choose to listen to music (as opposed to having it on in the background in some shop or factory) it is almost exclusively classical and has been since a teenager. I'm still discovering new composers, let alone new pieces.
