"Mars Attacks"
It's definitely on the list. People I knew were constantly raving about it, laughing their arses off. I never even made it halfway.
Perhaps all the funny bits were in the second half, but I'm not willing to watch it again. 😆 |

It's a satirical take on those 40's and 50's b-movies not too be taken seriously. |

I completely understand the concept behind it. But isn't satire supposed to be at least humourous, not sleep-inducing?
I also understand the fact that humour is subjective. It just didn't entertain me whatsoever. |

I haven't watched it for years can't say that it made a lasting impression on me good or bad. |

There's a 2024 film with Demi Moore in, called The Substance..... it's absolute dog shite. However, you do get to see Demi's tits and muff, every cloud has a silver lining. |

I paid £20 to watch Alien Romulus on prime over the weekend, my advice to anyone considering the same is.. don't bother.
The original Alien & the sequel Aliens were superb, Alien 3 was just ok, EVERYTHING else since then featuring the xenonomorph or however you spell it has been crap. |
