I care about myself again. There was a period where this was not the case and it took no small effort to get back there.
I still have a tendency to put those I love before myself. I think I've done that ever since I became a father. I doubt this will change much.
I respect myself also, as in whilst I am not perfect I do try and usually succeed in living in accordance with my beliefs and values, and I reflect quite deeply on what they are and ought to be.
You could refer to these things as love, I guess if one is so inclined. |

I have returned to this thread a few times, unsure as to whether I do or don't love myself.
I know and feel I am loved by others. I give and show my love for others. I am a good person, I like who I am and am proud of myself for what I have overcome throughout my life. So I suppose I do love myself, but I think I need to let myself feel that love.
