Next Door

I buy mainly from a local butcher but do buy from aldi occasionally.

Not keen on buying from other supermarkets, quality of their meat is poor.

"Morrisons when the deals are on "

I used to be in the Morrisons 6:30 club, you get to know faces, little nods when you see another group members loitering , a lady even whispered on my ear once, sent me running all the back to whole cooked chickens by the entrance.

Crumpet Castle

I'm vegan but I rate both Aldi and Lidl. Waitrose for 'common' top class butchery My local butcher for that smell of dead flesh and image of dismembered bodies in the window ( takes me right back to childhood )

Everything else is just sugar, salt and water injected for profit.

Sainsbury's 'special' range can be okay.

I'd say Aldi and Waitrose.

We're not near a decent butcher or a Waitrose unfortunately

Loads but they don't (as far as I know) sell their produce direct.

That’s a shame as there is no comparison to supermarkets

The suppliers I use have been on many cooking shows with the chefs championing their produce

There is a farm shop with a butcher about 15 miles from here but as it's mostly fruit they grow the meat isn't theirs.

I guess if we really searched we'd find a farm that sold to the public but if they're out there they're keeping very quiet about it
