When I was younger I really really wanted the Pocahontas doll but they didn’t do it near me and apparently the elves didn’t have the tools to make it which is convenient. I’m now 32 but every year I’m hoping I’ll get it

Before I answer this, can I just clarify - I don't need to let anyone who's won a raffle stick it up my arse do I?

I was excited to get into work today and find a gift there for me already..

However I'll be happy just for my boys to all be with me and for us just to watch a movie together. It's the simple things when one lives 350 miles away and the other two are teenagers!

Though if I'm lucky I might get a new hair dryer

Titz Towers, North Notts

I give my friends a list of three presents that I'd like and they get to pick one out of the three. That way I get a surprise, something that I actually want and they don't have to spend any time trying to second guess what I might already have.

So hopefully a selection of those things and sod all that I don't want.

We haven't got a Christmas tree, and we don't buy each other Xmas gifts.

However, I am very much looking forward to having a totally treat worthy breakfast, getting outdoors for a nice walk with our dog, and then eating Christmas dinner and relaxing with hubby on the sofa. It's just the two of us this Christmas day and I cannot wait to enjoy it with him. 🥰

I don't need anything under my tree, I've already recieved something spectacular this Christmas.

This is the first Christmas in over a decade that I've actually even put up any decorations. But I was gifted a "special" tree ornament and a lifelong task of adding one special ornament each year. So begins one of my first proper Christmas traditions. May seem silly and small, but it means a lot.
