Women out shopping with their mums. Thoughts and prayers with them

Black women wearing their natural hair. And I'm not talking about wigs that make, erm, some kind of people believe their hair is naturally that curly and long. Women rocking their natural hair is beautiful. 😍

"However I do smile at dogs. All of them. "

I'm the same. 😂 I'm more likely to say hello to the dog, than the person they're with.

In order - cats, crows, dogs, and pretty much any human unless they "obviously smell" of Reform, Trump, Putin, Israel, Musk, Tory, or Starmer.

If they smell of Corbyn or Michael Rosen I usually have a good chat with them too.

Cats smell of Corbyn and Rosen - quite profoundly so.

Crows smell of Che Guevara - they're fascinating for a chat.

Reading

I smile at dogs and people who are reading even if they don’t look up from their books to see me. I also love people who wear bold fashion choices.

I don't enjoy the 19th C too much.

Too much chauvinism and dogma.

I'm nodding towards the 22nd.

It's far more fluid and liberating.

Catch up Wild.

Black people- it’s how I was raised, to always say hello too

Mums struggling with their children on their own. I may offer to help pack their shopping or something if they nod back/ indicate they need help.

Sometimes elderly people who pass me and glance at me with a smile of benevolence. It's hard not to give into spontaneity by acknowledging them or even offering them a good morning/good afternoon when their countenance is beaming.

It feels rude not to acknowledge other black people when I catch their eyes

That’s a super interesting question OP! I know I do give the nod to certain types of people (I can see me doing it in my head now) but I have no idea what type of person that actually is.

I _think_ it is situation based - when someone has stepped out of the way or done something they didn’t need to for me whilst we are both in a hurry.

It's the law up north to nod and say hello or good morning if you're out for a walk/wheel, especially in the countryside. Or if you have a dog.

I have random kids go past the car on the School run and they wave at me and I wave back. No idea who they are.

Does that count?

Cars that stop for you to cross the road. That awkward nod or wave to say thanks.

Terry - without you appearing like a loon (I'll take the hit for that ), do you ever get a "feeling, in your gut", that the magpie can communicate back with you?

I do - it's much more than communicate - it's a whole amalgam of quantum info that I can translate into something in English.

Not always - depends on how much I've meditated that day and how much time I can focus "around" the magpie or crow etc.

But it's there, in bundles.

And, as said above, no need to expose yourself to ridicule if you see this and choose to answer it.

I can take those punches 👍👊.
