Maybe they’re too embarrassed to say anything.
Maybe they’re playing games.
They changed their mind and decided that ghosting saves a lot of return messages asking “but why not?”
They don’t want abusive comeback from the rejected.

It's the easy way out, people would rather ghost than communicate. I find ghosting to be a blessing in disguise, at least you know where you stand for when they come back.. and they always do. |

Happened to me this week😫
I thought we was getting on so well, we was about to plan meeting up then total silence. I can see her online on here and WhatsApp but no response?
I'd rather them tell me to go away and they aren't interested. Maybe life has got in the way? Maybe it's someone else? Maybe they lost interest? That all happens and I can respect that.
Like the Sterophonics said ' It's the not knowing that kills you' 😫
It kinda hurts in a weird way. Just hope they are okay. |

I think you can take it that They aren't interested any longer if they've stopped replying. It does make you wonder why but even if they'd told you they no longer wanted to meet they might not have given you a reason . |

If you weren’t serious or exclusive, nobody owes you anything. Not even an explanation.

I think the same, ghosting is if you've had some sort of real life interactions I'd say.
People here have lives that get in the way, or they get bored of chatting and move on to someone else.
Ideally people would tell you they've changed their mind etc, but some may worry they'll get abuse for it etc

Here's my take on ghosting from both sides.
If I'm ghosted I tend to think they've either changed their mind or were never really interested in the first place (only looking for wank material)
If I ghost, it's only after I've explained to someone that in not interested and they simply don't listen. Or, they've never even had a reply from me and consider that ghosting |

Fab's guidance is very clear on this. No written reply = no thanks.
Most of this ghosting is just the natural attrition of interest as people discover that they are in the vast majority of people who are not mutually compatible.

There are only so many wuu2 type questions that I can reply to.
Conversation naturally peters out -when it does think of a fun way to reengage... 'How are you' inevitably leads to 'fine', 'what you doing' 'not much'.. end of convo  |

I've only ever ghosted twice in my life and one of those was fab related.
Both followed similar patterns of being obsessed with what others were doing and stalking them on social media and fab and sharing their personal details with others.
I had tried the reasonable approach and when that failed I just adopted radio silence which then put a target on my back.
I have no regrets.
