You will get chatting to someone and make an effort. Then suddenly they stop replying and don't read your messages anymore. I wonder why. Change minds? Not feeling the vibe anymore?? I'm not too bloody sure

It's the organic way things progress on here, OP. Don't take it to heart. Conversations fizzle out, perhaps you weren't their type after all or they are no longer interested, perhaps also they feel they can no longer fit your criteria or preferences, or, regrettably, they were engaged in concurrent conversations with other Fabbers and you, along with others, didn't make the shortlist.
It's the natural order of life on here. It's not a nice feeling but it's not always on the back of anything nasty or untoward. 🌿 |

It's difficult isn't it. You have a friendly chat with someone, no mention of sexy stuff or meeting but you know it won't go any further anyway. Do you continue chatting, say politely that you won't be taking it further or just stop talking? It's a conundrum |

It happens...I usually find they'll say something that gives me the ickk then I don't want to chat anymore.
Also I find men chat for a bit then someone else probably catches their eye disappear then they come back some time later & think they can pick up where they left off...nope  |

Yes it happens loads, both on here and other dating sites, often they will be fakes looking for an easy mug to scam.
I tried the regular dating sites thing again over new year, a few fakes popped up of course. Curiously, one quite-genuine-seeming lady after a while suggested chatting on whatsapp as more convenient (which of course set off my scam alarm) so I gave her my number. Never heard another word. Not even an urgent request for cash for a sick pet/relative/missed flight etc I can't work this scam out, unless she/they are setting up something else using my number. |

From the opposite side and my point of view OP I find the hotter they are, the more boring the chitter chatter. So I've pretty much cut comms with about 90% of the 'forum babes' and just chat to the ones that are in the clique.

This should be expected as the standard outcome, from new chats, as most people are not mutually compatible with most other people.
It takes a few chats, for people to know whether it's right etc. , You move on, if it isn't. |
