Sat listening to The Final Cut for the first time, definitely not as good as The Wall.

What's your favourite Floyd album.

I an stuck between Dark side and The Wall

The Wall - its, to me, a stunning masterpiece.

Floyd do have a stellar back catalogue albeit with a couple of stinkers lurking too.

I imagine this is cheating but I'm saying Pulse

My childhood was pretty much defined by this album in particular.

I only know 2... Dark side and the wall... Not a massive Floyd fan but Dark side must be one of the 20 albums in everyone's collection.

I'm going off piste with, 'a Momentary Lapse of Reason'. Admittedly nowhere near as good as their 'classics', but holds some fond memories...

Dartford

Piper at the gates of dawn, just an amazing collection of psychedelic madness, then Animals, the new remix of which is fabulous, Final Cut and The Wall to round it out

AMLOR was the first one I bought when it came out, and I still like it a lot.

I enjoy all their albums but if I had to pick one it would have to be Dark Side of the Moon. Pretty much everything about it from the packaging to the sound quality is perfect (in my opinion).

Didn't get it when I first heard it but it got better with every listen so DSOTM for me.

I quite like the Final Cut too

Floyd is like 3 bands to me.

Piper is my favourite album .I think there is some genuine masterpieces in there. It's whimsical and fun

Dark side is another favourite but it's a very different album. It's all serious and moody but the lyrical content is stunning.. I think this is the ultimate concept album of all time..its perfect in every way

The division bell and momentary lapse are good albums, they are just not good floyd albums.i think they miss Rodger's lyrical contrbution and his theatrical approach, for me

Always Dark Side of the Moon for me, although I've got a big soft spot for Wish You Were Here.

Dark side of the moon tips it for me. But I like them all (excluding Gilmores albums) for different reasons

Animals is my favourite. Although I believe the bad hated making it and it was the beginning of the rift between Waters and the rest of the band which ultimately lead to him leaving after the The Final Cut and trying to stop the others using the name Pink Floyd.

I love these music threads. Even though I'm not really a Floyd fan it's great seeing peoples passion for music. More power to them

Probably The Final Cut for me. So underrated. A very poignant reminder of the troubles we face today.

The three that are always played when I need a Floyd fix are:

Dark Side

WYWH

The Wall.

Can’t choose between those three.

Delicate sound of thunder sits in reserve.
