Are anonymous valentine's cards still a thing?

So when I was a kid, it was always a bit of a thing that people would send anonymous valentine's cards to the people they fancied. Not quite sure why tbh...maybe a bit of romantic intrigue? (Not that I ever got any )

Anyway, I was just wondering if that still happens these days? Or does everything have a name on now?

Asking for a friend...

When I was younger the whole point of valentine's cards was that they were anonymous.

I only ever received three anonymous ones in my life. I eventually discovered who two were from. The third over forty years ago, remains a mystery.

It’s exciting to receive a Valentine’s Day card and not know who it’s from.

A Father’s Day card, not so much...!

I had an anonymous one once, in my late teens. Ended up having a bit of a fling with him.

I guess that's a thing nowadays.

When I was younger they just needed to look you up in the phone directory.
