I keep it all on here, it can take several meetings over a few years before I agree to chat on a different app.
I don't understand why anyone would give out their contact details so early on. Especially with romance fraud on the increase. |

I’m very wary of giving my details out and would keep things on here for as long as possible, at least until we’d been chatting for a while and a set date for a meet was in place (or had took place). In the past I’ve been asked for my number and have politely declined and it always turns out to be the right decision. |

I do find it useful on the day of meeting up though. Like, I want to be able to text and say ‘I’m at the last table on the right’ or whatever. |

Absolutely. The day of the meet I’ll send it just so either of us can let the other know about traffic or work or whatever getting in the way of meeting on time. Or I HATE not knowing if we’re meeting outside or if they’ve gone in and sitting at the bar. Let me know these things. |

It's a good question. I have been speaking to people for ages and only on Fab, others for about a day then Telegram, then some more that tend to go back to Fab.
As you well know OP, I love a massive ramble and Voice Notes are truly fantastic which Fab doesn't offer. Added to memes/GIFs etc it makes Telegram a better experience all round. |

I haven't used messaging apps for anything fab related for a few years so I deleted them.
I still have WhatsApp but I don't give my number to anyone I haven't met at least a couple of times.
It says clearly on my profile that I have no interest in quick meets and anyone getting in touch has to be prepared to chat for quite a while but that means on here and nowhere else. |

I don't decide. I've only ever moved over to WhatsApp and/or Telegram at ·their· behest, when ·they· were ready to do so. That could be several weeks or months after we first started chatting on Fab.
The only exception is when I've suggested to a forum dweller to share a weblink that ordinarily wouldn't be permitted on here or on the back of a forum game or to organise a coffee social. |

This is the beauty of Telegram. No need to expose your number. Although that is something I have struggled to do 😂. But it's a burner number anyway. |

I've never used Telegram. I decided that I hadn't used any of the others for at least 3 or 4 years so it was pointless having them.

I think you need to take the chat elsewhere in order to arrange a meet? Well it seems easier that way.
On the last occasion it happened the lady passed me her number. I'd probably still be getting lost in her inbox otherwise🤣 |

I converted when I pulled down on the fab message screen once too often and lost the fucking lot. About an hour of my life I'll never get back. Plus voice votes make life so much easier. How could I not send a message in my best Welsh/Bangladeshi? |

Same really. Some people we move onto messaging very quickly others we stick to talking here. I use telegram mostly as I am in event chats on there and use it for swinging only, but I will use WhatsApp if I trust someone or we are likely going to meet/have met. |

Tbh these days I only really want to take the chat off here if we are planning on meeting I have too many chats going because of events and it gets overwhelming. I don't always have the mental capacity for chatting all day every day and prefer to just reply to messages when it suits me. |

I keep it on here… it is so much more likely that I will respond on here, because if I am here, I am present- reading and answering messages (that I am interested in)
Telegram I hate and find overwhelming. Whatsapp there is such a mishmash of stuff there, family, friends, work… any Fab stuff goes bottom of the pile really.
Snapchat I only use to chat to my sons when they won’t reply on Whatsapp  so no chance there.

Happy to move to WhatsApp when the conversation gets going. I don’t really have a problem sharing my number with people I’m hoping to meet for either social reasons or smooching reasons |

We try and get on Telegram as soon as possible - a 3/4 way conversation on here is impossible to build any heat.
Also feels like you've got someone’s attention on Telegram - on here, there’s too many messages to sift through for women so you’re bound to get lost.
We haven’t had a good flirt for a while on Telegram actually 🤔

I've never really given my number or Telegram out without them asking or generally they give it to me. I don't want to be presumptuous and look pushy by giving it to them straight away. If they like me enough, they'll give it to me  |
