A lot of people feel quite embarrassed or just for whatever reason struggle yet they love the idea and they really want to do it.

No. Would I? Sure, if they can write as well as Gaiman but less problematic. I'm going to be a bit of an arrogant twunt here but I think I can write my own script a fair deal better than... well. |

I’d need a voice actor to do the voiceover for me. I’m terrible at reading aloud unless I’m familiar with the text and I’m probably not going to learn it beforehand. Never been one for homework |

I think I'd have to learn the lines first... can just imagine me stopping proceedings to put my glasses on so I could read the lines! Not something I've done btw. |

You’re not alone it’s very common !
I think knowing you won’t be judged, (or not caring if you are), really helps ! I was reading the thread recently about words that turn people off , I think if you’re in that thread it’s going to be problematic to enjoy because it’s feels like you’d need to be in your guard and worried about saying the wrong thing |

Now I'm just imagining post it notes dotted around the room, like revision aids for exams! Sexy!! I like the idea of having key phrases though... Maybe not so much being completely scripted. |

I write my own smut, only ever done it for two people but I’ve never read it out to them like a script
I do like to send a bedtime story voice note on occasion but I just make that up as I go along |

I’ve no idea if it’s a thing, but I know there are a lot of people love dirty talk and struggle to get the words out. I love dirty talk giving and receiving and I love role-play which can be really good when it’s first scripted, not just the words but the whole thing so that all the details feel natural and spontaneous to the person on the receiving end. I’ve no idea if this dirty talking from a script or flashcards is a fantasy for some males |

I do like dirty talk but you are right OP, most people are not good at it.
You can't read from a script as it needs to happen in the moment and be related to what is happening.
You can get some phrases that could be adapted but most of all it's more how you deliver the lines, you can have the right words but if you don't have the right conviction then it falls flat. |

Yeah I get that, I think some people are just naturally good at it. It’s a combination of language skills a very filthy mind and confidence/knowing they won’t be judged. Those that do dirty Tocq will know that it very often views into areas of language that are quite marmite to a lot of people, I think this is one of the things that stops people doing it or maybe they just like the idea we don’t have filthy mind to string together creative sentences of filth
