Name a singer with the most beautiful voice ever

I'll take Etta James over Aretha- such a range from soft and subtle to belting it out!
Dusty Springfield is often overlooked in favour of others from the time and for an other overlooked absolute gem, Tracey Thorn of EBTG- even if you ignore the EBTG catalogue, her performance on Massive Attacks Perfection is exquisite! |

"I'm going to say his name...
Michael Jackson"
On Can you feel it by the Jacksons, his brothers are plodding along nicely enough and then he jumps in around the 1.05 mark and he's just stratospherically on another level from them its not even funny. |

"Curveball here Lorraine McIntosh from Deacon Blue listen to her solo Cover from the Sky "
That's not a curveball at all. Thought she & Ricky Ross were absolutely perfect together. |

"Roy Orbison, fantastic vocal range, could hold a note without hardly opening his mouth or warbling. Elvis said he had the best voice in Rock and Roll. "
I agree, true Elvis did say that.
Personally I liked Elvis post army as best choice. His range was incredible by then and he could have sang a Chinese menu and it would have sounded good. |
