The quiet hiss of a Guinness nitrosurge
The seal pop a cork being opened from a bottle of your favourite wine
The crunch of walking on new fresh snow
The whine of your dog when he’s excited to see you
The snapping of nice pork crackling as you break into smaller pieces
The sizzling of sausages on the bbq

"Lots of these make me feel funny (in a bad way)
Maybe you have a subconscious aural kink? "
I think I have misphonia
The adverts where they pour champagne or fizzy pop or bite into Magnum ice creams all make me feel ill 🤢 |

Heavy rain on a wood roof ( when I'm dry indoors)
Tumble-dryer
Bath filling
Old fashioned water boiler refilling. (Used to sit in grans airing cupboard as a kid and fall asleep to the sound)
Thud of paddle on bum
Crackle of fire

In south Brooklyn there is a bay called Dead Horse Bay. There is a beach there that is full of pieces of old bottles (the site was a Victorian landfill) and one of the most eerie but also most weirdly satisfying sounds I've heard was the waves gently lapping over the tinkling glass. |

My dog snoring
Heavy rain when I’m inside
Crackling fire
The sound of birds on a summer evening
Waves lapping the shore
The sound my laptop makes when a meeting has ended and I hit the ‘leave’ button 😄 |

"The sound of the rain running of the roof and gurgling in the gutters when I’m inside, it’s very therapeutic. "
A man after my own heart with that one. |

"Opening and closing the rings on a ring binder file.
Peeling back the foil or piercing the foil on a fresh jar of coffee."
The first one reminds me of work, so nah. The second is a winner. |
