Chopping celery

Biting into a crisp juicy apple

Autumnal leaves under foot

What sounds do you find really satisfying?

Aberdeen

The quiet hiss of a Guinness nitrosurge

The seal pop a cork being opened from a bottle of your favourite wine

The crunch of walking on new fresh snow

The whine of your dog when he’s excited to see you

The snapping of nice pork crackling as you break into smaller pieces

The sizzling of sausages on the bbq

In south Brooklyn there is a bay called Dead Horse Bay. There is a beach there that is full of pieces of old bottles (the site was a Victorian landfill) and one of the most eerie but also most weirdly satisfying sounds I've heard was the waves gently lapping over the tinkling glass.

A bit of automotive asmr but I do love the sound of my V8 on idle. Also the sound of seagulls en masse gets me nostalgic for the coast.
