Is it acceptable for shy ..female..male ...any gender...to ..in a relationship but feel like there sexuality is changing to

Honesty is always the best way forward, can be very tough but better that than to cause way more issues further down the line.
Part of a swinging couple and we are just honest with each other. If either of us found out that something was happening behind our backs we would both consider that cheating and not just swinging fun. |

Just to add you never know what friends or acquaintances could be on this site as alot are discreet, so if your not honest you open up the possibility of someone else informing your partner which would be worse. |

Generally if someone feels the need to hide something that big from their partner then it isn't a particularly functional relationship anyway.

I'd speak to your partner, sooner rather than later. A good relationship only works if you are both up front with each other. Going behind their backs is risky business in any form. Me and my wife are now in the lifestyle together and love it. It has brought us closer together at home, which is the most important aspect. |

I guess it depends who you want it to be acceptable to, yourself or other people.
If you find it difficult to talk to a partner, a lot of people do, then it is sometimes easier to discuss things outside of your relationship. The problem is that once you've reached your conclusion you're further down the road with it than your partner is. Often it becomes even more difficult to discuss it with them then.
There are people who never reveal themselves fully to their partners. Relationships are very varied |
