I fail to understand why guys arrange a meet with a woman or couple and then fail to show up at the meet, this seems a waste when the women and couples have taking time to meet you.

People stand people up.

Men. Women. And couples.

It's not gender specific.

Probably because their wives have other plans or chores for them to do.

It costs £5 to be a supporter and the majority of those will never intend on meeting. As for couples and women i feel they get cold feet and or wary when anybody genuine comes along

What is the relevance of £5/Supporter and the intention of meeting (or not) ?

Ultimately, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, people get stood up.

Almost always it is down to nerves on the other persons part, or that they got their rocks off already and don't need to turn up because they are wiping percy down with kleenex.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do except learn from the experience and know that you are not the first person to be in that situation. It's not good advice, but maybe it will help a little.

Take care

Were contact magazines ever successfull, I've seen a few old ones and the sort of ads, but it looks like you had to send a letter to a po box, sounds like a lot of time to me

I think for some people it's like a dog chasing a car.

They don't expect to catch it amd when they do, they have no idea what to do with it. Likewise some men never expect to get a meet with someone, and when they do they panic and run.

London, Notting Hill.

Like any social, to arrange something and then not show up, it's the height of rudeness.
