All over

Do you use sprays, diffusers, bath bombs, flowers, little gel stickers, salts and essential oils. So much you can do to clean and fresh or make them smell and feel luxuriius like a spa, How do you instil a subtle yet effective aura of scent? What type of scent you like, citrus or woody or something else?

Decisions, decisions

Well, that depends if I've had a curry or not.

Nope, my bathroom is windowless and has 2 cat litter trays in it.

But judging by how long my big child spends in there, it can't be that bad

Sounds lovely, I think mine is something similar in the toilet. I like a more woody smell in the bathroom for now

I personally prefer the smell of fresh air in the bathrooms. So window open and faint tang of bleach for me.

Generally yes but I'm not a fan of artificial air freshener etc. It'll usually be because of my personal products

I know what you mean here !

Yes .. there is a need in the loos to have fresh air and that feint bleach smell I have two separate Loos and two bathrooms which have more of a restful sense of smell … one has a cedar wood type fragrance in my en suit and the other … those diffusers from Lidl … currently Bergamot I think !

But that feint smell of bleach seems a healthy option in the loos

"Burnt matches 😇🤣"

Is that because you light lots of candles?

I wipe things down with essential oil, and there's essential oil in the bin. Then I have a small discreet air freshener or diffuser 🌺

Main bathroom and en-suite both smell lush and are nice a clean.

Oh that's a good idea. I do like a discreet scent but so many of them hurt my nose or give me a sore throat. A gentle essential oil wouldn't do that

Lighting a match can mask a temporary smell, something to do with the sulphur.

Is that safe doing that with the oil on the units? I was not sure that os why I drop it on salts

I have a roasted coffee diffuser upstairs

It's lovely

It's not an overpowering coffee smell

It has a sweetness to it, a tiramisu smell

I don't know who mixed it, but they got the balance pretty much spot on

Yes, just mix it in with something to dilute it - you can add to unscented cleaner, just water, some fairy liquid and water and adjust the amount you want, but things like the sink or loo, I just use it neat.
