Totally agree, not only a fab drummer but a gorgeous voice that gives you goosebumps.

Only one I can think of is Roger Taylor of Queen sometimes did vocals. Definately backing.

My vote goes to him too. You can find some recordings of him covering for Freddie when Freddie's voice was gone. That makes him the 🐐 in my opinion

I'm in Love with my Car?? He's a great backing vocals singer but not as the main man.

My vote has to go to Prince

Phil Collins has to be up there as one of the best, Roger Taylor from Queen.. (search YouTube for Queens version of Imagine live at Hyde park sang in tribute to the London bombing that happened the week before) he did take lead on occasions

Phil Collins, has to be surely.

The lead singer in the band by default and still the drummer.

Drums has to be the most physical demanding instrument to play in a band, plus singing takes a lot of breath too.

Anyone that can do both is a winner for me.

Dave Grohl is surely the most successful drummer convert to singer, right?

Roger Taylor has a great voice, does Rufus Taylor sing too?

Taylor Hawkins had a great voice too.
