Yeah cuticle oil sadly makes a difference. It's remembering to use it that's the hard part.
I have a powder put on mine as BIAB lifts readily. After years of violin/nail biting it's the only thing that stops them from being damaged. Cuticle oil and gloves when using chemicals? |

An inexpensive option is the Superdrug cuticle oil. I dislike the peach scent but it's helped my nails quite a bit.
Inexpensive hand cream, Simply Professional hydrating hand lotion - big tub, use it plenty. |

"Cuticle oil and hand cream make nails more flexible and likely to bend not break.
Wear gloves when getting your hands wet except when using the toilet and showering. Be careful after showering "
I use hand cream a lot. I haven't used cuticle oil in a while, I'll get some |

"I take collagen and it seems to help. I seem to notice more broken ones if I haven't taken them for a week...
Not done a proper scientific study "
Collagen upsets my stomach unfortunately. I bought some gummies to help with the problem and had to stop taking them after the first 3 or 4 |
