Three things have given my nerves a bit of a shock this week.
Firstly, a bad dream that made me jump so much it woke me up with what felt like an electric shock through my solar plexus. It was so painful I didn't move for a few minutes.
Secondly, two days ago big spider running towards me that I did a jig on to kill it. I don't usually but I still had my boots on.
I felt terrible afterwards but it ran out on me and I panicked.
Thirdly, tonight my hallway light flickering like the lights in Poltergeist.
My heart is still thumping in my chest, and I don't even believe in ghosts.

Take a deep breath granny. You are safe. Nothing wrong with a healthy awareness of what's around you. Nothing wrong with being scared. It gets your heart pumping and reminds you that you are alive.

It's the lingering feeling of fear and impending doom I hate.
Sometimes it feels like my hair is standing on end.
I do deep breathing exercises, which helps. I seem to be extra jumpy this week. A little black, plastic bag, fluttering in the wind made me jump and scream a little last week.
I did laugh afterwards and told myself to calm the fuck down woman.
Was it a full moon? |

As long as your dreams are not of you continuously falling and eventually hitting the bottom. You should be alright, though a bit frightening.

"Spiders.
Hate them. 😬😬😬😬"
I'd just said to my daughter, about 2 hours before then, that the big spiders have all gone now.
She had a huge one in her bedroom a few weeks ago too and she's more scared of them than me. |

"It's a good job I'm not scared of spiders as I get a lot in this bungalow. Even found one in my hair"
Being in the building renovation trade I get covered in them, especially in warmer weather. They don't bother me, but the tickling gets a little annoying.😁 |

I was inundated with them last summer when I slept with windows open.
I actually had to get one of my partners to evict one via the bedroom window one morning.
I'd have been screwed if I'd been alone as it was way too big for my tiny hoover to cope with. 😂😂 |

"I had (whatever those spindly little spiders are called) on three of the four corners of my bathroom. I was actually annoyed, I wanted the full house! "
Those ones don't seem to bother me so much. I think it's because they don't move fast, or often.
I've got a smaller spider camped in my bathroom thar doesn't bother me, unless it starts walking along the ceiling towards me as I'm showering. Fast ones that run along the floor, or sit above me on the ceiling freak me right out.

"It's the impending blood moon's influence, that people of certain astrology signs are sensitive to.
It'll be over in a day or so "
I bloody hope so, or I'll have to take a tablet and be even more tired than I am. |
