The old gray mare she ain't what she used to be, or indeed what he used to be.
It's only a song but in my case it's true, I can no longer do the things I could as a young man. Standing for longer than an hour at a gig being just one.
What can you no longer do that was no problem in the past?
Alternatively are you one of these people who from clean living and exercise are physically more capable than you used to be?
I'll read any posts with interest while this ibuprofen goes down. |

Try to do mist things. Nit the heavy gardening or intense decorating anymore as such and tgat includes painting all the fences. Also hate cleaning the car but like it clean so persevere. As for the garage, really need someone to give me a hand to declutter. Any gardeners or decorators or just handymen about feel free to DM with your offer. |

"Most things. I had an accident and can no longer walk far unaided and I can't climb stairs"
I think that puts mine into perspective, that's tough going. |

There is something satisfying about getting the car clean, even if getting started is half the battle |

True story. A neighbour said to me once, I only keep three cars as they keep me busy cleaning them all the time and that way I keep out of the wife's way |

Well, considering I played 1st team rugby at school, and was fully combat fit in the army, there's a lot I can't do any more - sprint 100m in 12s, one handed pull-ups, etc...
I also have to watch out lifting things or my back spasms up.
The most irritating thing from a sex point of view is no longer being flexible enough to have my legs really far back in missionary position - it pulls uncomfortably and I struggle to breathe. Sad old git.
