Why do people do it?
I’ve been chatting with an admirer for weeks.
He messaged me this morning to confirm I was still ok to meet, which I was.
We agreed a time and that was 9pm this morning.
Due to arrive at 11:30am and then nothing!!
Why do that?
So annoying!

Who the hell knows what what goes through other people's minds. I've had happen to me too. They didn't turn up, no word and then they block me. We're not the first and we sure as hell won't be the last. |

No idea why people do what they do sometimes. I flirted with a guy last year, who actively pursued me send wanted to know when I could meet, offered his place, checked in with me if he saw me online, without being creepy. Eventually I had some time, attached a meet, dressed and everything, and messaged him to get the address as I was ready to leave. Nothing. He wasn't online, and didn't log in again for nearly a week. At which point he simply ghosted me.
I eventually told him what I thought and blocked him.
I was checking my block list earlier today, and noticed that his status is complaining "doesn't anyone ever meet here". 🙄 |

I think people simply chicken out. What seems a good idea in fantasy, becomes a bad idea when faced with the reality.
But just ghosting is poor manners; least that needs to be done is to say "sorry, change of plan" |
