What’s your summer car ?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Summer car v8 RS5,lives in the garage over winter, just serviced it last week ready foe summer. Other daily is a 5cyl Volvo V70 brilliant workhorse, massive load space and the most comfortable car I've owned . Nearly 50mpg after a remap. Only about 16 smiles to the gallon in the V8 though 😁 |

Nice colour, love laguna blue. My E46 track car is currently wrapped Porsche Crayon grey was originally black.
My Porsche 964 Summer car isn't ready yet as it's still being restored but hopefully it will be done for June. In the meantime I'm using my E92 M3 as my E46 M3 isn't road legal at the moment. |

"Sounds like you have a great car collection the e92s are great as well but I definitely prefer the s54 now "
Thanks, I have an F31 as a daily that is great for roadtrips but the E92 is great for making me smile Would like another F80 M3 at some point but finding a good one is proving rather tricky |

Unfortunately I don't have a car right now but on the nice hot sunny days I'd love to be driving a alfa romeo type 939 spider italia independent with the carbon fiber interior trim and the 3.2l V6. I've seen loads of examples of this model going for 10 grand or less. A real gem of a car |

If I had a summer car I wouldn't mind a red mk1 MR2 T-bar. So I could drive around with My Girl shotgun feeling like the dude from Outrun but on a budget.
Plus you can never trust British summer weather so I think a T-bar is a better comprise on a convertible.

Nice, we have the black series of the w204. Insane bit of kit.
Been looking at swapping it out for another black series but the market needs to stabilise a little first |

Definitely recommend putting the widebody on it, gives it so much more road presence. |

If you're feeling a bit cheeky do a stage 2 to it, you can get them to be proper flamethrowers. Mines sitting around 660hp and it sounds like a warzone |

Still got plenty of grunt stock though.
Thinking about a GT black series next, will probably take that close to 1000hp with renntech upgrades |

"We have a few.
I cannot disclose my two as they are rare enough to give our identities away quite easily.
Mia has a Nissan Figaro which she uses quite often once the weather permits."
I’m very curious now ?lol |

Someone in the family has a sls black series an they're absolutely mental, no idea how they passed regulations. Not sure what AMG do to their cars to make them such demons but I wouldn't buy elsewhere at all.
What year w204 do you have? Did you ever struggle with the engine mount problem we had to get ours done as soon as we picked it up, wouldn't handle track use otherwise |

Same here but I don’t have a garage, lives outside but it’s my daily drive |

I do have a summer toy, but I don't want to say exactly what it is as it may be a clue to who I really am. It's an early 1970's coupe though, and I love it. Certainly get a lot of looks when I'm out and about in it. |
