Prioritising someone over absolutely everything else regardless of context is unhealthy and unsustainable.
So yeah, sometimes other things are more important and need to be dealt with first.
If someone takes that as meaning they mean absolutely nothing, it's best we part ways sooner rather than later 💜 |

To busy for what? Keeping in touch constantly?
People (not me) lead very busy lives with work and family and outside influences can't expect to be top of their priorities all the while.
Maybe you ment something else |

As a person who can quite happily not have contact with someone for weeks and just pick up where we left off when life allows, I'm guessing we're very incompatible people.
Everyone has different wants and ideals and ways of managing their own relationships. Communicating those needs early on is a good shout 💜 |

Very true - everything is a choice and needs have to be prioritized ...
I want a level of income which requires me to work full-time, so work is definitely one of my highest priorities and takes most of my day.
My free time is precious - to put something in, you need to take something out!

I believe that for the right people, people make time. I think that the longer that you wait for a reply is how far away from people’s thoughts you are.
Obviously there will be times when replies are slow but if it’s a constant then you aren’t high on the list.

I speak to one of my partners daily and see them a couple of times a week. But they live close to me. The other I see far less frequently due to distance and we can go days without contact. The two are separate individuals, have totally different life commitments, work patterns and there's never been an issue with me having more contact with one than the other. As long as all are happy and content there's no need for any parity or 'equality' in terms of contact frequency.
If you're not happy/comfortable with levels of contact then the thing to do is communicate that to the person involved as they may well be assuming all is fine and dandy if nothing has been said. Sometimes a lack of communication is the cause of issues, not any desire to have less or make someone feel less of a priority. 🤷♂️ |

As long as I have their attention when we're together, I don't care how far down the list I am.
It would make me run a mile if someone put me at the top of that list.

I don't *expect* constant communication from anyone. We all have lives and sometimes other things will be a higher priority than I am, depending on what other things they have going on in their lives. I'm pretty low maintenance. As long as I feel like they give me the energy I need when I need it in whatever form that might be I'm happy. And I know that sometimes I will go up and down in other people's priorities. |

Also op your an attractive woman so I'm assuming you will attract good looking guys. If the guys are good looking they will probably have loads of women after them so probably trying to keep up with a lot of people.
When I was meeting regular guys I didn't really care what they did as long as when we where together I was their top priority and they made me feel special |

Letting real life take over almost cost me a few friendships which I am tentatively rebuilding.
If I am a back burner thought for him, then I'll activate the natural fade and slip away, as we are incompatible. |

Very this one.
The time we're physically together I'd hope to be pretty high on the priorities. I quite like having the focus in the buildup for a little while, but I can't be doing with it all of the time. I prefer people to go live their own lives until it's our time again 💜 |

It all depends on the particulars. If I've got a friend who is dying and I'm in their will, then I'll prioritise them. After I've had my tea, obviously. Otherwise, people have to take their turn |

Everyone has times when they need to prioritise something over another. However, if you always seem to be bottom of the list, time to communicate that and if necessary find someone else that does have time for you. |

I always think people make time for who they want to make time for.
I used to have a friend, she always had her phone in her hand, but took ages to text me back, especially when there was a man in her life. I stopped making time for her, due to it.
On here, I'm not looking for anything just now, so people not having much time isn't an issue.
When I was meeting if people never had time to reply to me /meet, I just stepped back for a bit. |

I have priorities sure but when I'm with someone they are as important as all my other priorities as they are a part of my life.
That's just the way I'm wired I guess... |

I find this to be a hard question to answer. I go through phases of finding other people quite exhausting. Even sending messages. I am prone to disappearing for periods. It’s not because the person is a low priority, I care very deeply about some people, but I just don’t always have what it takes to hang on the phone, respond to messages, always be available. I know some people don’t understand that. However, I do believe in clear communication. People I’m close to know that I find it hard sometimes to keep in touch. |

I wouldn't say that not putting someone first is not prioritisig them (damn, that was a lot of negatives), but it's more a case of having the mental capacity to give them what they need from in the best way that I can. I would much rather someone had fewer interactions with me and be fully enthused that half arse it frequently |

I get that. I can be awful at responding to messages in a timely manner, but it's not because I don't care. I just don't want to rush it. Of course, too much can feel a bit suffocating as well and people have lives 😂 |
