Would it be easier to do it from John O’Groats as it will be downhill all the way.

Chapeaux mate! Hell of an endeavour.👏👏

Not done it, best I've managed is the length of Wales North to South. Only advice I can give is everything you already know I bet, but the best I can offer is massage at the end of each day (how many are you doing?) and if the weather's bad, have dry kit to change into after every feed-stop. Nothing worse than setting off after a break in cold wet gear.

OP, more tips from someone unable to post...

"Good advice , warm kit after the ride as body temp will drop

And proper hydration salts with the correct amount of potassium

Less carb and more fat"

Alternate long and short days. Don’t hammer yourself in the early stages.

Stop regularly.

Enjoy every moment of it.

See every puncture as a moment to stop and enjoy the scenery.
