I've never shown any that suggest we've had sex as a rule, although avoiding drama is part of that rule. |

I wouldn't purposely hide something so someone else didn't see it, if I had a someone else that I felt the need to hide things from they wouldn't be in my life.
I do hide the sexual ones, sexual trip advisor ain't my thing. |

I have three verifications that I don't show.
One is sexual and I don't like displaying it for that reason.
The other two had the phrase 'treat this lady with respect' so it goes without saying why I don't show those. |

I genuinely get it, lots of us will try and display verification that reflects us just like our profiles text is trying to do.
I started the thread because of something someone said to me. I became interested if anyone else felt they’d not want to be associated with someone in some way or other. |

I choose not to show mine. Mostly because I've had people message my veris in order to try and get personal information about me or to talk shit. That's not cool.
I'm not hiding them out of shame, nor do I care who knows who I've fucked, unless they have nefarious intentions with that information.
Occasionally I'll show a few social ones post group social or club night for a little while 💜 |

I experienced this on a previous profile and was one of the reasons I left. It got to a point where someone I had only met for coffee made the verification sound as though we had shagged.
I thought it was a funny verification so I initially posted it and then suffered the wrath of someone else who wanted me to be exclusive while she continued to post veries from her multiple fbs. |

I just show the ones I think are the most interesting and informative in as much as a veri is useful for that purpose. No one is going to read them all anyway.
Most of the ones I don't show are bland/generic social veri's from events and people I barely spoke too. And from people I didn't speak to.
I have a verification from a woman I walked past in a hotel corridor. That's it. We didn't speak but apparently I'm very nice. |

I have chosen over the years not to show certain verifications. Some because, despite what others may say about them, they turned out to be nothing like the person I spent an hour with in a restaurant and I didn't want to be associated with them when they were creating drama in chat groups etc.
I also chose to hide one from a woman who wrote a very imaginative verification that made it sound as though we were besties and had snogged at a social when in truth we had passed each other on the stairs and said hello. |

I don't hide my verifications because of other people, that's their problem not mine.
I don't show some of them because they use a word I really don't like. One person did it on purpose.
I will say if I looked on a profile and saw they only had social verifications I would think they are not serious about swinging and would not bother messaging them. |

What makes me laugh about those that take verifications as gossip would go into melt down if they knew someone's real sexual history but the biggest laugh are the social ones that paint people out to be some superior human being |

Have decided not to show any on my new profile as a couple of friends are becoming jealous of any activity (even though they have their own successful fab and non-fab life).
I recently asked someone not to display my veris on their profile as it was bringing so much unwanted mail from their veris. I also don't want to intentionally upset another friend who I no longer play with so it's easier to not show veris

I've had people contact some of my veries and ask for personal info such as my name and where I work. The only reason someone I've never spoken to would want those details is to stir shit.
I've also had one woman contact my verifications and pretend to befriend them as a way of scoping out the competition.
I've also had someone outside my age filters contact someone I've verified and asked them to get me to message them. When they were told to feck off they started a forum thread in the hope I wouldn't think they were a loon and get in touch.
I've never been asked about any of my verifications but I call bs on anyone who uses the excuse that it's acceptable to ask a stranger about someone they've verified so they can feel safe.
If the person they are asking thought someone was a risk they obviously wouldn't have verified them in the first place so they are hardly going to contradict their own verification. |

I don't display all mine, not because I'm hiding anything or feel I have to. I just hide the older ones, ones where I haven't seen them for yonks and don't really talk now, or ones that are just a bit bland and don't say much about me.
I like to keep the visible ones fairly recent and a fair reflection of me and the people I meet. Tho I don't get veris from everyone I meet. |
