Nothing really. I ran out of surprises some time ago.
Although the dentist revel seemed surprised that at our advanced age we were able to complete on line forms on our phones. So I'll go with that. Despite being a decrepit old bag can use tech. |

I don't think anything about me really surprises people. I tend to be quite straightforward in how I come across, I think. Maybe I can be a bit snarky on occasion where people expect me to have more of a cookie cutter personality but that's about it. |

My compartmentalised life.
My drab world friends would be absolutely amazed at me having a glam world and would be surprised at me actually being fairly good at it, going out and visiting straight bars and having people queue up for a selfie with me.
My glam world friends would be surprised that I'm a published historian with research articles and books to my name.
My comedy industry friends would be surprised by what I do for a living.

The biggest surprise to people is how I've erased huge important parts of my life from my memory until a trigger sets them of. My late partner never failed to be surprised about things I told him about my past many years into our relationship, he couldn't believe I could forget such important things.
The other thing is people who only know me as being well would be surprised at how unwell I become, but very few people in my life have been privy to seeing the unwell me I just lock myself away whether that's for days, weeks or months |
