In the west.

One year I started in Rhodes and used ferries up through the island to Athens then over to the Ionian islands. From Greece I went to Italy the over to Spain where I travelled by train to some stunning cities.

NW London/Kent/Midlands

We did a week travelling between Budapest, Bratislava and Austria that was an amazing trip.

Other than that Bucharest is great, has Europe's biggest thermal spa there. Copenhagen is also good for a city break, but bit expensive.

Cinque Terre, Italy. Actually Italy generally (although didn't like Rome particularly)

I was in Switzerland last year. Anywhere there, so many stunning areas.

Slovenia- Lake Bled

North Macedonia is really pretty and some lovely lakeside beaches on Lake Ohrid.

To be honest if I had 3 months I'd just jump in a car and wouldn't plan much more then that!

Dubai & Nottingham

I found Malta a bit boring, into Venice this year and I really want to do cinque terre. But if you have three months and are looking for nice beaches then why bother with Europe? Asia is much nicer and far cheaper

On a serious note. It depends what you like.

I like history and I found crete last year, so good, did so much yet could spend weeks there and not fit it all in
