I was on a particular building site once, and one of the guys had a van and would always turn up every other day, with a new scrape/scratch or dent in his van. One day he turned up with his passenger side mirror hanging by a thread, swinging. I said, "what have you done now?" He said "I clipped a road sweeper, I didn't see it!" I said " how the fuck did you clip a road sweeper? It's a fucking big machine?" He said " not a machine, a man with a brush!" 😳

I arranged to meet someone I hadn’t met before. He was bringing the drinks and I was providing the snacks. A lovely honey roasted nut selection from Aldi. I ate a few just before he arrived. We kissed at the door when he got there. Then he collapsed, unable to breathe. He had a nut allergy and hadn't thought to tell me. |

Actually it didn’t quite play out like that but he did have a nut allergy and I didn’t know and I had bought nuts but fortunately hadn't opened them in advance. Can you imagine the telephone conversation to 999?!
We stayed in touch but didn’t ever meet again, he also hadn’t told me his true age and he was a lot younger than I thought he was and I was already pushing the age difference with older the fake age! It was a fun adventure but not to be repeated! |
