Audi Drivers, sorry I have to ask.

Now i’m sure you’re all absolutely charming in person. BUT, once you sit in that car, what is it that trips your mindset and turns you in to one of the most annoying branded cars on the road, genuinely I’d really like an explanation from one of you to explain and justify your need for speed and erratic driving.
Anyone? |

"Especially those who drive white Audi’s.
I have a theory that they drive so fast so that dirt cannot stick to their car."
😂
Driving home on the motorway yesterday, one overtook me and tailgated the car in the outside lane, the motorway was really busy and the car in front couldn’t move out his way but that didn’t stop the Audi A4 from being about 3 feet behind him, further down the motorway one came speeding up behind me, i couldn’t move out the lane i was in and again, they insisted on nearly rubbing bumpers with me, a small gap appeared on the inside lane and he quickly swerved into it then undertook me, i just don’t understand what’s going on in their heads, are they always running late for something maybe, poor time management? 🤷♂️ |

Examine your own mindset. What makes you brand all Audi owners on the strength of ONE example , in which you seem to be more preoccupied with the brand than the driving.
Bad drivers drive any brand erratically. You wouldn't notice good driving. There's probably much more good Audi driving than bad Audi driving so I am very interested in what makes you dislike Audi's ? |

30 years being on the road, the bad drivers stick out more than the good drivers, and you don’t need to have eagle eyes to spot those 4 cock rings on the back or front of the vehicle, Im not alone on this im sure, yes there are bad drivers in all makes and models, but audi drivers seem to have manopolosed it. |

White Audi’s and White Range Rovers are seemingly driven by those with a heavy accelerator foot and a longing to be The Stig (in my humble Motorway driving experience).
On normal roads you can’t move for Citroens and you’re just lucky they’re working (in my experience as a Citroen owner)! |

"Mr D has a 720 bhp RS7 and said "it's the power that does it" "
I had to look that up cos I didn't know what it was.
1. It looks amazing......
2. It's what I call a sports car ( in a generic sort of fashion )
3. It's fooking expensive
I can't hate you though. I'd still let you in in a jam |

Never been keen, the sound of most of them are like wet farts coming out the exhaust. Much more of a fan of the American muscle sound or even some of the Japanese ones which are based directly from the US muscle, much more industrial sound and mad max looking. |

Only exception is maybe the porsche straight 6 for example. But again, directly dedicated to compete with American muscle. |

Bad drivers are prolific but Audi ones are the norm for their users. Very dangerous. I've seen a few that flash their lights, trying to clear others from in front of them, before tailgating. BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Volvo are likely to need driver training and insurance hikes by considerable amounts |

Oh these generalisations....
A car does not make a bad or good driver. A driver decides to be a bad driver when ignoring the safety of others, the road conditions etc.
I like driving, no actually I love it. And I like driving fast. Advanced driver of a BMW here, with a powerful engine but it does not make me challenge other drivers - I drive defensively and the power of my car is used when I need to get out of a precarious situation mostly caused by inexperienced and inconsiderate drivers. |

Just out of curiosity, what makes you an advanced driver? Are you in the traffice side of the police force, or have you been on extra driving courses? |

We sign a contract with Audi when we purchase that we have to be the biggest twatty wankers on the road. Held liable if we fail. |

Twats are twats. Whether they drive an Audi, BMW or fiat.
Is the twats giving a bad name to Audis (a few years ago you would have made the same post with BMWs), not the opposite. |

I think we all need to reflect on our behaviour here.
Generalisations around protected characteristics are one thing, but when it comes to the purchase of goods and services that's just over the line.
Have some empathy, there are probably Audi drivers out there now, with outrageous finance agreements, APRs that would make a loan shark smile. Suffering with buyer's remorse, everyday of their lives. And here we are adding to their pain.
Your struggle is real Audi drivers. #notallAudidrivers. |

BMW M4 like a bellend up the bypass today. He nearly hit the car overtaking a car in front of me, pushed them up the road, then cut in and turned off.
I don’t think they realise it’s such a cliche. |

True. Also they're way more practical than a 911 or a vantage, which you can't get a car seat in the back etc. And probably is rarer |

Playing Devils Advocate now...
Do you think some of this behaviour is because 'premium brand' car drivers are not offered as much generosity by other road users?
I had an unremarkable Ford Fiesta up until pretty recently
I now have a newish BMW coupe (with fully working indicators - I paid extra for them )
My driving style hasn't changed
The car isn't ragged about and I am courteous with others
However, what I have noticed is a huge difference in how fewer cars are willing to let me out of junctions, give way to me etc and how many want to 'race' me away from traffic lights etc
I don't get it, but it's definitely a thing |

It is. I had this very thing when I owned a black car (it was only a Hyundai - not a sporty car). People see black cars and automatically assume “racer”, so yes, it is a thing and I guess more high powered cars are a casualty of that mindset. |

Well if he was able undertake you.
You are in the wrong lane.
And hopefully you aren't one of those fellas that stay there to teach everyone a lesson.
I drive on motorways every day and the people that are complaining about this are usually the ones that are at fault.

My mistake, not the OP but you that doesn't know his straight from his flat.
However you are correct in that you definitely won't get a child seat in the back of a 2 seater Vantage. |

Actually I worked with a brat who did this, she bragged about how much Daddy had.
Daddy paid someone to sit in a cafe, near the theory test centre to give them the answers. |
