How do you eat a meal?
I was recently out for a meal with work colleagues. We went for a Sunday roast. I was intrigued possibly baffled by the chap opposite me who ate everything on his plate individually. First he ate the veg then the meat then the roast potatoes and finally the Yorkshire pudding. I cheeky asked him why and he said he doesn’t like to mix his food and hates his food touching.
Does anyone else eat like this? How do you eat a curry for example or a stir fry?? 🤔 |

I'm a very fussy eater so don't often eat a lot of different food in one meal, but I will eat it all separately (unless in a wrap for example) I don't eat it in any order but wouldn't eat a bit of fish and a chip together for example! |

Maybe he doesn't like curry or stir fry OP.
People process things differently. I like to try different flavour balances of mixed things in a mouthful. Some people prefer a simple mouthful. Neither of us is wrong, just different 💜 |

"Two of my children eat the vegetables first, then the carbohydrates then the protein. "
That’s how I eat. It’s how I was brought up. Not specifically but a learned response. When we had a family meal on a Sunday (my dad was at work all the other times), the heat was on a serving plate in the middle of the table and was carved after we’d eaten the rest. I think the idea was we filled up in the other stuff so that there was leftover meat for another meal |
