I said lots of things are more gross because I didn’t think sex was gross. He clearly thinks it is but then at 9 I’m kind of glad he does. I suspect that may change one day!
I explained all about sex to him last year and he was fairly matter of fact about it but did say he didn’t think he wanted to do it. When I told his sister who is 2 years older her eyes nearly popped out of her head. She’s not currently too enamoured with the topic either - and at 11, that’s ok too. |

They do teach stuff at different ages yes, and when one sibling knows who’s a bit older it’s easier to have the conversation about it with both of them so there’s no secrecy. Plus I figure if I’m open about I hope they will talk to me about anything they need to |

ah ok I only asked as mine is grown up now & I didn’t realise how things have changed for children these days (I know my ignorance) & also mine was an only child parents have got it so much harder today bring up kids in this day an age  |

Kissing is gross actually when given a lot of thought. Someone in your face is hard to ignore. A meeting of genitals can be pretty impersonal if you so wished.
